The extension to and refurbishment of Howco’s existing offices creates a high profile 21st century environment befitting of its status as company’s European Headquarters. An impressive central atrium provides natural light to an inherent deep plan space. The project has transformed internal operations catalysing professional interaction between all staff. Finalist at the LABC Awards 2017.
We’re extremely proud of this project which was highly commended at the RICS Award 2017. We helped design a modern new build showroom and workshop development providing C21st facilities for an established business. Part funded by the Regional Growth fund this project was completed in February 2016 and delivered to an exceptionally ambitious budget.
Conversion and refurbishment of a Grade II listed building into city centre apartments. This recently completed projected included the sensitive replacement of existing roof & roof lights, reinstatement of windows, provision of cycle store and cleaning, repair, repainting and installation of glass to steel frame canopy structure.
Transformation and renovation of an existing Grade II listed historic church building, incorporating a new ‘floating’ Fitness Suite over, link extension together with cookery & drama classrooms. Highly intricate project providing dedicated and flexible spaces to increase pedagogical, well-being and fitness provisions at the existing school.
Larkin Grove is a development of 35 new build homes, developed with Frank Haslam Milan (FHM) for Sheffield City Council. The authority appointedGreat Places as the
developer for this site and aad architects as the post contract architects. Working together the partners supplied modern properties, contributing to the vision for the area, and creating more sustainable.
